Extra-strong hold, dead-matte finish.

Add to basket

What it does

A pliable matte hair clay for bold, defined styles that hold all day with no shine. Strong enough to commit to a look, workable enough to restyle with your fingers. The one for thicker hair, short textured cuts and anyone who wants hold they can feel.

How to use

  1. Start with dry or towel-dry hair (dry gives the strongest, most matte finish).
  2. Scoop a fingertip-sized amount and rub it between your palms until it’s warm and invisible.
  3. Work it through from the roots, back to front.
  4. Shape with your fingers for texture or a comb for definition. Add a little more if you need extra hold.

Questions

What’s the difference between hair clay and wax?

Clay gives a drier, matte finish and more texture; wax usually has more shine and a slicker hold. If you want a natural, no-shine look, clay is the one.

Will hair clay make my hair greasy?

No. It’s a dry, matte clay. Too much product on wet hair can look heavy, so start small on dry hair.

Super Dry Clay or Dry Matte Clay?

Super Dry Clay has the strongest hold. Dry Matte Clay is strong too but a little softer and easier to rework, with a natural matte finish.

How do I wash hair clay out?

Shampoo with warm water — clay rinses out more easily than heavy waxes. Tea Tree Shampoo works well.
