What it does
A proper shaving cream softens the hair and gives the blade something to work against. This one whips into a smooth, creamy lather that cushions the skin, so the razor glides rather than drags — a more comfortable shave than foam from a can. Made with sensitive skin in mind, and scented with our signature fragrances.
How to use
- Shave after a shower, or soak your face with warm water for a minute.
- For an even closer shave, apply Shave Oil first.
- Work a small amount into the stubble with damp hands or a brush until you have a lather.
- Shave with the grain using a sharp blade, rinsing often.
- Rinse with cool water and finish with Post Shave Balm.
Scent
Century — blackcurrant, apple and bergamot, softening into jasmine and oakmoss on a warm vanilla base. Fruity, rounded, easy to wear.
Willow — black truffle and ylang lifted by bergamot and blackcurrant. Earthy, refined, a little darker.
Questions
Is shaving cream better than shaving foam?
Cream gives a denser, more cushioning lather and usually less of the drying propellant feel of aerosol foam. Most men find it more comfortable, especially on sensitive skin.
Do I need a shaving brush?
No — hands work fine. A brush lifts the hair and builds a thicker lather, and makes the cream go further.
Can I use it with pre-shave oil?
Yes. Oil first for glide, cream on top for cushion. Read more in Pre-shave oil: do you need it?
How do I avoid razor burn?
Prep with warm water, use a sharp blade, shave with the grain and don’t press hard. Our guide to a close shave without razor burn covers the full routine.
